In this blog post, I’ll show you how to make a delicious and healthy vegan, paleo, raw, and dairy-free 3 ingredient salted caramel ice cream. The best part is that it only takes a few minutes to prepare! So, let’s get this party started!

I’ve actually been eating this ice cream for breakfast, lunch, and dinner because it’s so good! Not only does it taste insanely good, but it is also very beneficial to your health. Ice cream has never been so healthy because it is made only with ripe bananas, date syrup, and a dash of salt.

It is so good for you and nourishing that it has earned the well-deserved nickname “nice cream” at home! The date syrup adds beautiful ripples of sweet caramel flavor, and the bananas provide the most gratifyingly light and fluffy whipped and creamy texture, all of which are expertly balanced by a pinch of sea salt.

The greatest potassium content of bananas is known. A mineral called potassium is necessary for maintaining healthy nerve and muscle function. Additionally, potassium is essential for maintaining a normal fluid and electrolyte balance.

Bananas are a great source of fiber as well. It has been demonstrated that fiber helps to maintain normal bowel function. Colon cancer risk has been shown to decrease with regular consumption of foods high in fiber.

Ingredients

  • three ripe bananas
  • 1-2 tablespoons date or maple syrup
  • a pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  • Place the ripe banana slices in a freezer-safe container.
  • Place in the freezer until completely frozen.
  • Place in a food processor after removing from the freezer.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy; you may need to add a little almond milk or let the bananas thaw slightly to make it easier to blend.
  • Blend in the salt until thoroughly combined.
  • Scoop the ice cream from the food processor and swirl in the date or maple syrup.
  • Enjoy with fresh berries!
